INSTALLATION TIPS
- STORViNO® modules are extremely strong. The weight of each module when filled with 6 bottles is actually distributed to the vertical stacking guides. You can stack them one on top of each other as high as you desire. However, we recommend that you stack them not higher than 10 modules per vertical stack. Really, most people cannot reach that high anyway!
- DON’T FORGET THE CORKS! In order to stabilize each vertical tower of STORViNO® wine storage modules, we designed cork connector ports above each of the handles. Simply insert a cork through the two cork connector ports of each module, and VOILA! They are now connected sided by side. Now your favorite corks have been recycled with a new purpose in life other than rolling around in that drawer you keep them in. If for some reason you do not have any corks around to lock the STORViNO® modules side by side, Zip Ties have been suggested by sommerlier and Cellar Advisors owner, Marc Lazar of St. Louis, MO. Marc has hundreds and hundreds of STORViNO® modules in his client’s wine lockers, and cannot drink enough wine to keep up with the demand for corks.
- Since most floors are not perfectly level we recommend that you shim the front of each vertical stack with 1/4″ – 1/2″ thick material of your choice will do the trick.
